Changed the way I see Electronics

Spintronics really helped me (as a teacher) understand how electronics work - how all of the different components work together to create circuits. The rotating parts and chain drive system are a great stand-in for electrons in a wire. This is a great product.

Great product delivered timely!

My son loves playing with it

The battery broke in the first few hours after opening it. I was able to repair it by taking it apart. The two discs that hold the spring separated. The part where the spring attaches to the disc does not hold well and comes off if the circuit has a short. I applied a little epoxy to the attachment point to hopefully keep it from falling off each time. The repair videos were helpful. Other than that, it is quite a novel and captivating learning tool for my son.

Fun, but really expensive

This was fun for my 9 year old. He's used it twice. I think it was way too expensive for the use it gets and type of toy it is.
